Whether you have a tiny porch or a wrap around deck, fall decorating is always a must!

A traditional fall color scheme has lots of reds, oranges and yellows. If you like a traditional fall look, try adding pumpkins, leaves and gourds in different sizes.  If you add a mum or two it will give your porch an inviting look for your guest. An easy way to spruce up your mums is to place them in fall baskets. A beautiful fall wreath is a great investment, as you can use it year after year.

If you are more interested in a Farmhouse fall look, you’ll want to stick with white, orange and gray colors. Corn stalks, plaid pillows and galvanized buckets all add to the farmhouse look. You can visit flea markets or second hand stores to look for antique items. Distressed wood adds a vintage look to your porch, try adding an accent wall made from wood! Light colored pumpkins, mums and a straw/cotton wreath will give your porch that extra farmhouse feel.

An easy DIY project – grab an old wheelbarrow, wagon, or bale of hay and add pumpkins, mums, gourds, old milk cans, and don’t forget the scarecrow!
