Virtual 2021 Albany St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Due to pandemic-related restrictions, the 2021 Albany St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be a virtual celebration of its 70th year! This year’s Parade Day will include a mix of Parade history (including the North Albany Limerick Parade), tons of memories dating back to 1951, interviews with each of the 8 Parade organizations involved in the Parade, guest speakers relaying their personal Parade Day memories, and, of course, plenty of Irish Music!

The members of SFD are making a tasty St. Patrick’s Day dinner “to go”! Individually packaged takeout meals are $12 and include freshly cooked corned beef, Irish potatoes and carrots along with a generous slice of cornbread. Pick up is available on Wednesday, March 17 at our fire station between the hours of 4pm and 6pm.

We’re doing our best to keep you safe at River Street Market. First, we are adhering to all CDC guidelines. Masks are required when not sitting and eating. Our vendors wear masks and gloves at all times. HEPA air filters have been installed for airflow decontamination. Cleaning procedures include sanitizing surface areas constantly, along with numerous sanitation stations. We’ve also spaced our tables even further apart. Lastly, we are cashless to reduce cross-contamination.
