Part of the delays when it comes to building a home are the consideration process. Selecting a layout, thinking about cabinet colors, what paint to choose, hardware, lighting fixtures, etc. It is so much more complicated than simply pointing to a picture in a catalog.
Because the logistics within the new construction process are so timely, our current situation is actually quite a beneficial (although unexpected) opportunity. It’s a wonderful chance to put our “social distancing” ourselves (AKA stuck at home bored to death) to use in a productive way. That way when life goes back to normal, all of the minutia is complete!
