April Showers bring May Flowers? This year, the Capital Region seems to be a little behind. With all the rainy weather we have been having, it’s difficult to find activities to do indoors. Check out some of our favorite rainy day spring activities in Saratoga County!
Activities for the Adults:
The Saratoga Winery is only 4 miles from downtown Saratoga. Stop in to try some of the best wine, beer, or mixed drinks. They offer a full menu including their specialty wood-fired pizza.
Adirondack Winery has three different locations in Lake George, Queensbury, and Bolton Landing. All locations are open for wine tastings and curbside pickup.
Thirsty Owl Outlet and Wine Garden
Great wine and delicious food await you in at Thirsty Owl Outlet and Wine Garden. Indoor dining, outdoor patio, and garden seating is available and tasting room bar is available.
Want a fun creative day/night out with some cocktails? At Paint and Sip there is no experience necessary. Get an instructed painting lesson by a local artist to create an original piece of your very own.
The Casino and Hotel offers more than 1,700 slot machines, hotel stays, live harness racing, electronic table games, and great dining options!
Family Fun in Saratoga County:
Located in Queensbury, Adventure Family Fun Center is a family fun arcade. It features additional attractions such as bumper cars, go karts, laser tag, a rock wall, paintball, and more for when the weather is nicer. Currently, only the go-karts are open in accordance with state guidelines for attractions.
Another option for family fun in Queensbury! The Fun Spot offers go-karts, mini golf when the weather is nice and laser tag and more for the rainier days!
A premier spot for family fun! They offer bowling, bumper cars, an arcade, and ball pit. The bumper cars and ball pit are open at 25% capacity currently.
The Children’s Museum at Saratoga
At the Children’s Museum learning and playing go hand in hand. Children learn about science, history, community living and the arts all while having a fun filled day!
Bring the whole family down to the local Farmer’s Market to shop local products, enjoy delicious food, and even listen to some live music!
